Updated National Digital Master Plan implementation framework released
The Ministry of ICT has published the updated National Digital Master Plan (NDMP) 2022–2032 implementation framework, detailing milestones for broadband connectivity, digital skills, and e-government.
The Ministry of ICT and Digital Economy has released the revised implementation framework for the National Digital Master Plan (NDMP) 2022–2032, providing a detailed roadmap for Kenya's digital transformation over the coming decade.
The framework sets out specific targets including achieving 90% broadband coverage by 2027, training one million digital skills workers by 2028, and migrating 80% of government services online by 2030.
Priority areas include expansion of the National Optic Fibre Backbone Infrastructure (NOFBI) to all 47 counties, rollout of last-mile connectivity through the Universal Service Fund, and establishment of 500 digital hubs in underserved areas.
