The Ministry of Education has launched a national digital learning platform providing Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) aligned content free of charge to all public secondary schools.
The platform, developed in partnership with the Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development (KICD), includes video lessons, practice questions, and teacher guides across all subjects, and is accessible offline through school-based content servers to accommodate areas with limited internet connectivity.
Initial rollout covers 2,000 secondary schools, with nationwide coverage targeted by the end of the 2026/27 financial year. Schools can request onboarding through their County Director of Education.
Teachers can access training materials and certification for the platform through the Teachers Service Commission's online professional development portal.
