The Office of the President has confirmed the current Cabinet Secretary lineup across Kenya's 22 national ministries, following a series of appointments and portfolio changes over the past year.
Each Cabinet Secretary is nominated by the President and vetted by the National Assembly before appointment, in accordance with Article 152 of the Constitution. Cabinet Secretaries are not Members of Parliament and are drawn from outside the National Assembly and Senate.
Citizens can view the current Cabinet Secretary and Principal Secretary for each ministry, along with contact details and the services each ministry oversees, on the GOV.KE government organisations directory.
Updates to Cabinet composition are reflected on GOV.KE as they are formally gazetted.
